Andante Blues is the Friday night blues dance for Colorado Springs.
We meet from 9-12 on Friday nights at the MACS studio at 525 E. Fountain
Blvd #150 in SE downtown. (a little way down Royer St.)
$5 suggested donation (no one turned away)

"Andante" is a musical term used to denote a tempo of approximately
walking pace. We chose this name because it's representative of the
relaxed tempo and simplicity of movement that defines a lot of the
dancing we do.

Overstreet Dance Gallery

www.overstreetdancegallery.com

Overstreet offers Blues Classes

Progressive Drag Blues class. Each class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Must sign up for whole intensive. No partner necessary! $40/intensive; discounts may apply. For any level Blues dancer, Drag blues is a modern variation of Ballroomin' and Slow Drag (both are vintage Blues dances). It's a style danced to the swinging rhythms found in Blues music. While it's based on the vintage traveling Blues dances, it has a more defined technique and incorporates a lot of Swing moves and movements. *Drag Blues I is a prerequisite for Drag Blues II.

See WEBSITE for more information.

Overstreet Dance Gallery is a comfortable, friendly environment in which to learn the art of partner dancing. Our goals are to help build the Colorado dance scene; be a popular and well respected dance venue; have popular and well respected teachers, DJs, bands, and staff; and to create an environment where students feel safe and comfortable going out and wanting to come back.

We have lessons and parties for West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Blues, and Tango, and offer private dance instruction, group classes, youth programs, team & performance opportunities, and a fantastic rental venue.
